It's because when new clients come I have no way of assessing how our work relationship would turn out to be. ![]() Before that it was almost never, and the few requests that would come I had to decline because I obviously cannot invest in something big for a small return. It was only a little over a year ago that I started getting regular Trados jobs. But for me, it was difficult to make a decision on it. Trados is considered the industry standard. I suspect it depends on the language and job offers you get. Some answers simply cannot be given without these factors in mind.
